Hi, I'm Daniel Burns and I'm an award winning Film & TV Producer and New Media executive living in Boulder, Colorado with my beautiful wife and daughter. I'm a musician and music lover, a self professed foodie and an all around geek. I also love to travel. In 2003, my online travel journal, WiredNomad.com won SXSW.
Currently, I'm the Director of New Media at a $50M publicly traded television production and media broadcast company. In addition to my skills in film & video production, I now have three years of conversion-based Internet marketing experience. I've been responsible for generating revenue through SEO and paid lead generation, conversion optimization and membership retention. Here's a link to my LinkedIn & my resume.

Every project begins with listening. Listening is learning. What do the customers say? What does the team feel? Solutions are waiting to be uncovered.
What are the resources, the limitations and the budget? The planning phase is all about deriving the best product possible while juggling all three.
Based on the info gathered, mockups are created and discussed. How will the audience respond? Mockups are then updated and any final touches added.
The production phase begins! The right team is assembled and feedback is encouraged throughout the process to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
Work is not done after a product is launched. With metrics in place, the results need to be evaluated. Is everything meeting business goals?
